British Airways will operate flights to Cancun, Mexico twice a week from Gatwick later this year. From November, a Boeing 777 will serve the route, which will offer a choice of three cabins. “We’re delighted to be the only UK scheduled airline offering direct flights to Cancun,” said BA Head of UK and Ireland Sales and Marketing Richard Tams. “It is the perfect addition to our Gatwick long-haul premium leisure network.” The first flight will leave Gatwick on 3 November at 12.45pm UK time and arrive at 5.45pm local time. Flights are on sale now.
