BA strike enters a third day

The British Airways cabin crew strike has entered a third day. The union Unite said that only nine of 1,100 cabin crew reported for duty at London’s Heathrow airport. But BA argued that at least 55% of Heathrow based cabin crew were working as normal, and 97% turned up for work at Gatwick. According to a BBC report, the airline said more than 60% of customers flew on Sunday. The company is advising customers to check the BA website to find out what extra flights will now be operating.
