Baby born on Cathay flight

A pregnant woman has unexpectedly given birth on board a Cathay Pacific flight from Hong Kong to Adelaide, the NZ Herald has reported. The 29-year old woman was returning from India when she went into labour. The baby was delivered by an Australian doctor who was, rather fortunately, also on board the flight. The plane made an unscheduled stop at Darwin, where the woman was taken to hospital.
