BAC launches Tahleeq

The Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) with support from Ministry of Transportation (MoT) and Tamkeen announced the launch of its new initiative – ‘Tahleeq’. The programme focuses on graduate training program aimed developing talent in Bahrain’s aviation industry.
Tahleeq is a capacity building program for high-performing Bahraini graduates. The two-year scheme has been designed to involve young Bahrainis into the aviation sector while obtaining practical experience.
Ahmed Nemat, acting undersecretary for civil aviation affairs at Ministry of Transportation said: “We are proud of our partnership with Bahrain Airport Company. Our efforts exerted to launch this program will pave the way for nationals to be trained by experts within the aviation field.”
He further added that such training programs should focus on specializations required by the aviation industry in line with the ministry of transportation’s directions to attract and develop young and promising Bahraini talents.
The selected applicants will be expected to commit to the two-year program, where they will be exposed to various discipline areas. To enable effective skills transfer, the program will also feature regular coaching sessions with experienced and qualified mentors.
