Strong progress is underway on the Airport Modernization Program (AMP) for Bahrain International Airport (BIA). In line with this undertaking, Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) has announced the closure of BIA’s long-term car park ‘C’ in preparation for early phases of the AMP due to start early next year.
Car Park ‘C’ entrances will be closed starting from 15 November 2014, while all passenger cars should exit Car Park ‘C’ the latest by 15 December 2014.
BAC will also be increasing provision of shuttle buses between the Airport car parks and the Airport Terminal building as well as frequency of pick-ups and drop-offs for shuttle buses to maintain speed of service.
