A man was arrested recently by airport police at General Santos City, Philippines, after he jokingly told staff there was a bomb in his luggage. Kenneth Batas was quick to regret the joke after he was detained and held by police for questioning. Batas was released the following day but he may not be off the hook just yet. Airport authorities have invited Cebu Pacific to lodge a formal complain against the passenger who has publicly apologised for his poor sense of humour. Speaking to CBN News, airport officials warned airline passengers against cracking jokes about bombs or terrorist attacks on airplanes.
