Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara recently attained the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point System (HACCP) certification in Qatar.
HACCP is a recommended control system for hygiene of food products. It is a preventive food safety management system that monitors every step in the manufacture, storage and distribution of a food product, and is analyzed for microbiological, physical and chemical hazards. The certification is highly regarded within the hotel and food industry and is recognized by SGS.
The certificate was presented to Thomas Fehlbier, general manager of Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara in the presence of FSMS Committee team (Food Safety Management System committee).
