Bangkok Airways has partnered with Shopee, an e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The tie up is part of a promotion called ‘2019 Shopee 9.9 Super Shopping Day’ and creates awareness for the airline’s new official store. It is offering special promotions for Shopee users and a chance for users to win free flights on its nine routes.
Komkrich Ngamwongwirot, online account director for Europe, Africa and Middle East at Bangkok Airways said: “We have jointly introduced a new plane design with this partnership. Our partnership with Shopee will allow our airlines to grow its e-commerce business and help us reach new markets.”
The new colours will be seen on aircraft flying to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket, Krabi, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Mumbai, Da Nang, Mandalay, Yangon, Vientiane and Nha Trang. Some branded merchandise products will be sold on the inflight Shopee store as well.
