Bangkok Airways to fly to Mandalay

Bangkok Airways will launch flights to Mandalay next month.
Commencing on 15 September 2013, the airline will operate four weekly flights to Myanmar’s second biggest city, direct from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport.
Flights will run every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, using a 144-seat Airbus A319. Services will depart Bangkok at 1200, arriving in Mandalay at 1320. The return leg will depart Mandalay at 1410, getting back into the Thai capital at 1635.
Mandalay will become Bangkok Airways’ second destination in Myanmar, following Yangon. Following the launch, the airline will offer eight domestic and 11 international routes.
