Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts will be promoting its new resort in Ras Al Khaimah and other developments planned during ATM.
Banyan Tree Al Wadi in Ras Al Khaimah is a 45-minute drive from Dubai International Airport and is the first luxury resort in the UAE to offer an ‘all-pool villa concept’.
New resorts to open in the region over the next two years include Angsana Eastern Mangrove in Abu Dhabi, Banyan Tree and Angsana Sifah in Oman and Angsana Alegria and Angsana 40 West in Cairo. Properties in Thailand and the Maldives are being looked into and spas will be integrated into many of the new resorts.
“ATM is an excellent platform for Banyan Tree to interact with the travel, tourism and hospitality sectors, as well as an excellent opportunity to interact directly with customers travelling to and from the Middle East,” said Banyan Tree’s Assistant Vice President, Global Marketing Network Audrey Chung, who will be manning the ATM stand.
“We are definitely expecting high traffic from the Middle East region due to the increasing popularity of short-haul travel and the trend of short weekend getaways favoured by travellers from UAE and GCC.”
