BA’s Asian traffic drops 9% in December

British Airways (BA) saw a 9.4% decline in passenger traffic on its routes to and from Asia Pacific in December 2010. The performance contributed to an overall global traffic decline of 8.3%. The airline did cut its capacity accordingly however, allowing load factors to stabilise at 82.7% – down just half a percentage point from December 2009
