Beijing air controls “must stay”, say residents
Beijing residents have voiced demands to keep in place the emergency measures employed to improved the city’s air quality during the Olympics, The BBC has reported the locals are becoming increasingly vocal in their demands to keep the Olympic measures, which are due to expire on 20 September. These include keeping drivers off the roads, closing polluting factories and shutting down rubbish dumps.
