Hotel giant Best Western has opened its eighth hotel in Tasmania, continuing along the Australian trajectory it had already set itself.
The new property, named the Best Western Foreshore Motel, sits in Lauderdale on Ralph Bay.
The hotel’s operations manager, Colin McGillivray said: “I am thrilled to be part of Best Western Australasia’s hotel family, and I am genuinely excited to know Best Western Foreshore Motel will become a tangible piece of what is a well-recognised global brand.”
Rob Anderson, Best Western Australasia chief executive added that he was delighted with the company’s continued expansion through the region.
“Best Western is undertaking an unprecedented period of expansion in Tasmania, already signing the Best Western Plus Launceston and Best Western Hobart earlier this month,”
Earlier in the month we reported on the company moving into North East Thailand.
