Boeing machinists reject contract

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) 837 has rejected what Boeing called its “best and final contract offer”, and will now go on strike in the St. Louis area. The US planemaker said in a statement that it was disappointed with the decision. The St. Louis plant is used primarily for military aircraft, rather than commercial manufacturing.
