Boeing nails Russian order

Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner beat out Airbus’s bid to supply aircraft to the nation’s flagship.
Aeroflot has ordered 22 Dreamliners to upgrade its fleet of Boeing and Airbus planes built during the Soviet era.
Aeroflot said it still had plans to purchase Airbus aircraft for a later delivery date.
Scott E. Carson, Boeing’s executive vice president also agreed to assist in Russia’s aerospace company, Sukhoi.
“This underscores our long-term commitment to cooperation with Russian industry,” Carson said.
