Bombers target Baghdad hotels

At least 36 people were killed and 71 wounded in three car bombings that targeted hotels in Baghdad yesterday. According to a Channel NewsAsia report the first bomb struck near the Palestine and Sheraton hotels at around 3:30pm local time. The second and third blasts targeted the Babylon Hotel and the Hamra hotel just minutes later, the report added.
