Cambodia awards national park land to tourism developer

The Cambodian government has awarded 1,650 hectares of land in the southern Ream National Park to a private company to create an ecotourism development, the Phnom Penh Post has reported. While the exact details of the develop weren’t made available, Som Chenda, Director of the provincial Tourism Department was quoted saying that “Preah Sihanouk province will be one of [Cambodia’s] most attractive tourist destinations”
