Cambodia and Vietnam have agreed to open six new border crossings to boost trade and travel, the Phnom Penh Post has reported. Currently there is just one such gate at Bavet in Cambodia’s Svay Rieng province. Mom Sibon, Secretary of State for Cambodia’s Ministry of Public Works and Transport, was reported saying that the agreement, reached last month, would help to boost tourism.
