Camels sell for US$6.5 million in the UAE

Three racing camels have been bought for US$6.5 million at an auction in the UAE. According to a BBC report, Hamdan bin Ghanim al-Falahi at the Al Dhafrah purchased the animals at the annual week-long camel festival in Abu Dhabi, which also includes a camel beauty contest and competitions to find the best camel meat and milk. The festival is now in its third year.
