About 300 passengers were stranded at Abu Dhabi airport for over seven hours yesterday, after heavy fog forced the grounding off all flights for over 7 hours yesterday. The Gulf News has reported that 13 flights were delayed as the airport stopped all flights taking-off and landing from 00.10 to 07.45 on Thursday morning.
Ten of the flights were diverted to Al Ain airport, with one flight each going to Muscat, Sharjah and Dubai Airports.
