A new marketing platform has launched that aims to connect luxury hotels with high-spending travellers.
The Chic Collection, which will be officially launched at ILTM Asia in Shanghai on 2 June 2014, is a new online platform designed for both consumers and the travel trade.
A new booking engine, available on the chiccollection.com website and mobile booking platform, has been developed by Sabre and allows direct consumers to book Chic Collection’s member hotels direct. But a new GDS code, ‘FF’, will also enable the collection’s hotel members to connect to the travel trade.
“We are excited to be launching Chic Collection’s new ‘Chic’ era at ILTM Asia in Shanghai this June, to benefit both our member hotels and their target consumers globally,” said Nigel Bolding, founder & CEO of Chic Collection.
“Through the launch of our new working model we aim to connect member hotels directly to their target consumers whilst also offering sophisticated travellers a smooth and stress free booking experience.”
As well as a booking channel, Chic Collection will offer sales and marketing services to its hotel members, including sales visits to hotels, participation at the luxury trade shows, joint-advertising and market intelligence services. The Chic Collection also has representative offices positioned in UK, Germany, Dubai, Singapore, USA and Saudi Arabia.
The move marks an expansion for the Chic Collection, which has previously published 35 editions of its coffee-table guide book.
