China approves first national park

China’s Ministry of Environmental Protection and National Tourism Administration have approved the establishment of China’s first pilot national park, Xinhua has reported. The Tangwanghe national park is located at the south of Lesser Hinggan Mountains in Heilongjiang Province, in China’s northeast. The area is most famous for its virgin pine forests and geological relics.
