China considers time travel ban

Of all the social ills governments try to protect their citizens from, the dangers of time travel wouldn’t appear to be a pressing concern. But Chinese authorities appear to have taken a different view. TV shows featuring time travel may be banned in the country in a new censorship move, the Daily Telegraph has reported.
The country’s State Administration of Radio Film and Television (SARFT) said that TV shows and movies in which people “travel backwards or forward through time via flashbacks” would be banned as they “casually make up myths, have monstrous and weird plots, use absurd tactics, and even promote feudalism, superstition, fatalism and reincarnation”.
I always knew there was something wrong with ‘Back to the Future II’, but I never suspected that it promoted feudalism
