Shanghai’s China Eastern Airlines will increase its operations to New York later this year, with the launch of a second daily flight on the trans-Pacific route.
Commencing on 12 December 2015, the airline will add a new evening departure from Shanghai’s Pudong International Airport, complementing its existing 1130 flight.
The additional service will depart every day at 1930, arriving at New York’s JFK airport at 2200. The return flight will then leave New York at 0100, before landing back in Shanghai at 0520 the following day.
Both daily flights will be operated using China Eastern’s new 316-seat China Eastern 777-300ER aircraft, which features the airlines new livery and cabin products, including six private suites in first class, 52 flat-bed seats in business class and 258 seats in economy.
