India has averted a potentially damaging snub which would have upset already cordial bilateral diplomatic relations with China.
Representatives of Chinese aviation had originally been excluded from the list of invitees who were asked to attend the AeroIndia international airshow in Bengaluru on 9 February.
On Sunday, India reversed the decision and has asked Beijing to send a two-member delegation and a media representative to the event reports PTI.
However China was invited to the event last year, but Beijing chose not to send a delegation along. The list of non-invitees now includes Iran and Pakistan.
