China railways expect 10% rise in passengers

China’s railways authority has said it expects to transport 210 million passengers during the peak spring travel period, about 10% more than the same period last year, the Shanghai Daily has reported. The 40-day travel peak from 30 January to 10 March includes Chinese New Year on 14 February.
