China raises fuel surcharges (fuel crisis update)

Fuel surcharges will be rasied on domestic Chinese routes by CNY20 (US$2.92) per passenger for short-haul flights and CNY50 (US$7.31) for long-haul flights. Effective today, fuel surcharges on flights of less than 800km will be CNY80 (US$11.69) per passenger, with longer routes charged at CNY150 (US$21.92). Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation.
