China tourists make 350,000 Taiwan trips

Tourists from mainland China have made more than 350,000 trips to Taiwan since the travel ban was lifted a year ago, according to a Xinhua report. Du Jiang, Deputy Director of the Chinese National Tourism Administration said the number of tourists from Chinese mainland to Taiwan has been steadily rising since the first weekend charter flight flew to Taiwan on 4 July 2009.
