CityJet has dropped six routes as it revealed its full summer schedule for 2014.
The airline has withdrawn loss-making routes from London City to Dundee, Munster, Luxembourg, Nuremberg and Paderborn with final flights to take place in late March.
The carrier has also dropped its flights to Pau in the French Pyranees.
Despite the route withdrawals the airline will boost other routes heading into Europe.
Daily services from London City to Dublin and Paris will commence on 30 March 2014, while services from London City to Florence will double up to 12 weekly.
Capacity will also be increased by 50% on the Toulon route going to three times a week, while a new Avri RJ85 will add capacity to Rotterdam.
CityJet’s Cardiff routes were previously announced last year with connections to Glasgow, Paris-Orly, Jersey and Edinburgh.
“We are working on a series of improvements to enhance the travel experience for our customers, and optimising our network is the first step. It is designed to offer passengers more choice and convenient schedules to choose from,” said the airline’s chief commercial officer Simon Spinks.
