CLYMB Yas Island hosts 2026 World Skydiving Championships

CLYMB Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, is set to host the Second Official EEIPC 2026 World Skydiving Championships from 15 to 18 January 2026. This event will see over 250 elite athletes from more than 30 countries compete in the world's largest indoor skydiving flight chamber. For the first time, the United Arab Emirates will have its own skydivers competing on home soil alongside the world's best.

The event promises a thrilling spectacle with five competition disciplines, including the 3rd International Skydiving 16-way Double Event and the 2nd International Indoor Skydiving 8-way Event. Spectators can enjoy the Aerial Indoor Racing World Championships, where racers fly at high speed between inflatable airway dividers. Two new disciplines will debut: the all-female 1st International Indoor Skydiving 4-way Battle Event and the 1st Vertical Sequentials 8-way Event.

Hussein Al-Hassni, General Manager of CLYMB Abu Dhabi, expressed excitement about hosting the event, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome hundreds of stellar athletes to Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, for the World Skydiving Championships. CLYMB Abu Dhabi is the perfect arena for this landmark moment as home to the world’s largest indoor skydiving flight chamber.”
