CNI presents Resorts World Sentosa seminar

The Cornell Nanyang Institute of Hospitality Management (CNI) has organized a special public seminar by Mr. Noel Hawkes, Vice President of Resort Operations for Resorts World Sentosa on Saturday, September 5, 2009 from 2:30pm to 5:30pm at the Grand Hyatt Singapore. Resorts World Sentosa will open its doors to the world in early 2010. Slated to be one of the world’s most exciting family destinations, Resorts World Sentosa is a collection of resorts and attractions with a plethora of fun-filled offerings for the entire family. This is a free seminar and is open to everyone interested in the hospitality industry.
As Vice President of Resort Operations at Resorts World Sentosa, Noel Hawkes heads a team tasked to ensure that the mega resort get off to a flying start in 2010. The 57-year-old Irishman, was previously General Manager (GM) at Hotel Phoenix and is one of the longest-serving GMs in Singapore’s hotel industry. At Resorts World Sentosa, Noel’s team devotes itself to planning day-to-day operations that will form the backbone of resort operations. Arranging the transportation for the Resort will also fall under his care. A smooth and seamless arrival experience is what is planned for all guests arriving at RWS.”
The seminar will end with an introduction to the Master of Management in Hospitality (MMH) program, a specialized MBA with an exclusive focus on the hospitality industry. The event is open to everyone interested in building a career in the hospitality industry. Register early as seats are limited.
