A Colombian airline has entered GDS distribution for the first time in a deal with Sabre Travel Network. The carrier, named AIRES, has signed a multi-year agreement to display all its fares and inventory, including ancillary fees. “As AIRES continues to grow we are confident the Sabre GDS will help us reach more business travelers and expand the visibility of our products through online travel agencies,” said Pablo Yunis, chief commercial officer for AIRES. “Sabre Travel Network provides us a tremendous opportunity to work closely with travel agents to help them sell our products and services in the most efficient channel for them.
