Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China, Donald Tsang suggested that India and HK utilise the many common links and interests among the two regions to promote travel and tourism. He cited common features such as festivals, food, art and cricket as areas of shared culture which could bring the nations closer together.
Tsang was speaking at the launch of a weeklong Festive Hong Kong Week at the SelectCity Walk in New Delhi yesterday, which has brought reps form major attractions such as Disneyland and Ocean Park to the city. Convenient air connections and no visa requirement for Indian nationals have already boosted travel to and from HK.
