Coral Beach Resort Sharjah is celebrating its half year results, with occupancy levels reaching an average of 90%, according to Jean-Pierre Simon, regional general manager, Northern Emirates, Coral Hotels and Resorts.
“We are absolutely delighted to achieve these results,” he asserted. “Sharjah is growing in popularity as a tourist destination with arrivals at the airport up 13.6% last year to reach 7.5 million, while hotel guest numbers rose eight per cent to top the 500,000 mark according to the Sharjah Commerce & Tourism Development Authority figures.”
“Among these positive figures, the Coral Beach Resort Sharjah stood out with occupancy levels in the first half of 2013 nearly 20 points above the average in the city while achieving the highest RevPAR (revenues per available room).”
