Corporate travellers are used to sharing the cost of a taxi or a meal, but now they are sharing accommodation. Research conducted by BreakFree Hotels, Resorts & Apartments shows that it is now more popular for corporate clients to book a two or three bedroom apartment rather than multiple hotel rooms.
“Until around 12 months ago, our hotel suites and one-bedroom apartments were in demand by the corporate traveller, but that has changed now with two and three bedroom apartments coming more popular for business colleagues travelling together,” said the company’s Executive General Manager, Tomas Johnsson.
BreakFree has 46 properties in Australia and New Zealand.
