Cox & Kings profits up 37%

Cox and Kings has announced its financial results for the third quarter ended 31 December 2010.
For the first nine months of the fiscal year, the company’s consolidated net sales grew 29% yoy to INR338.69 crore.
The value of its shares dropped however as it registered diluted earnings per share (EPS) of INR12.74 compared to INR18.74 in 9MFY10 due to fresh issue of shares during GDR in August 2010.
Annual growth of consolidated net sales for the quarter were even better, increasing 37% yoy, while net profit grew to INR23.34 core, up 20% on Q32010.
Peter Kerkar, Director of Cox and Kings said; “We have witnessed growth in all the segments of business that we currently operate in and this is reflected in a 37% increase in our revenues this quarter.
The travel industry has been growing quite significantly and we believe that we are poised to capitalise on this growth.”
