Cox & Kings revives ‘Duniya Dekho’ tours

Cox & Kings, the world’s first travel house, has relaunched its renowned Duniya Dekho group tours, a programme that once defined Indian overseas travel. Acquired by private equity firm Wilson & Hughes, the company is reviving this beloved offering with enhancements such as smaller group sizes, guaranteed departures, and digital itineraries. New destinations include Europe, Japan, Dubai, and Vietnam.

Originally launched in the 2000s, Duniya Dekho became synonymous with comfortable and predictable travel experiences for Indians, featuring expert tour managers and Indian meals abroad. The programme's strong recall has prompted its return, aiming to cater to diverse traveller groups, including multi-generational families and first-time international travellers.

Karan Agarwal, Director of Cox & Kings, stated, “Duniya Dekho was never just a product, it was a comfort system for Indian travellers. As we bring it back, we’ve reimagined it for a generation that values transparency, ease, and deeper cultural experiences whilst keeping the assurance people trust Cox & Kings for.”

The revamped programme focuses on value planning and wider destination coverage, supported by Wilson & Hughes' operational backing. This relaunch comes at a time when Indian travellers are seeking safer and culturally familiar ways to explore the world, marking the return of a trusted travel companion.

Cox & Kings, with a legacy dating back to 1758, continues to deliver bespoke travel experiences, now under the governance of Wilson & Hughes, which is expanding its presence in the consumer space.
