Ctrip profits surge in 2010

Ctrip.com International Ltd, the Chinese travel services provider, has reported its results for full-year 2010, with net profits surging 59% to hit CNY1 billion (US$151 million). The company’s net revenue totalled CNY2.9 billion - a 45% year-on-year rise. Min Fan, Ctrip’s President & CEO, commented; “The Ctrip team capitalised on numerous opportunities and overcame many challenges [in 2010]. Once again we delivered solid results and increased our market share.”
