One of the stars giving up his time is Chef Tien, who, since he was a young boy, has always had an interest in cooking. His grandmother taught him many Vietnamese dishes, and he now owns and operates a world renowned Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur called Sao Nam http://www.saonam.com.my which started operation in August 2003.It quickly became the talk of the town, with Chef Tien’s Tiens mangosteen salad and duck in Tamarind his signature dish. The WA Trade Commission has invited him to cook at Frasers in the Park in Perth, and he has been named by Gourmets in Australia as a “Must do In KL”. He was also awarded “Best Restaurant in KL” by Tatler’s Malaysia Magazine in both 2005 and 2006.
So if Master Chef has inspired you in the kitchen - but you don’t know where to start - why not start on a holiday that delivers more, than relaxation, a stunning and exotic beachside location amongst the jungle, and a chance to meet global friends and enjoy the best food from our wonderful diverse Asia Pacific region.
