Shanghai is planning to develop a new Metro line to take visitors directly to the city’s new Disneyland theme park when it opens in 2015. The Shanghai Daily reported yesterday that the 9.2km line connect to Metro Line 11 at Luoshan Road Station, while the new Disneyland station will connect with the Metro Line 2 via shuttle buses. The new line will have three underground stations including the theme park terminal. Work on the CNY4 billion (US$605 million) line is expected to start in September.
