Hong Kong Disneyland’s Managing Director, Andrew Kam Min-ho, has pledged that the theme park will become profitable during his tenure, the South China Morning Post has reported. Kam, who took the helm in August, made the comments in his first appearance at the Hong Kong Legislative Council.
At the same time, Kam announced that 20,000 free tickets valued at nearly HK$6 million (US$774,000) would be given to needy families.
“Within my term, we will see a return in our business,” SCMP reported Kam as saying, without giving a time frame.
