Travel technology supplier Dolphin Dynamics has added an air allocation and charter management module to its tour operation product. The air travel option, which brings data from various suppliers onto one screen, allows for operators to view a chartered and committed inventory, as well as low-cost carrier fares, consolidators and fares from their GDS. “Our customers can actually book via the GDSs (Amadeus, Galileo and Sabre) too using Dolphin,” the company’s Marketing Manager Andy Davies told Travel Daily. “In addition to that they can load, manage and sell their directly contracted and committed allocations with flight, accommodation and other suppliers into our product database.” Pricing, mark-ups, promotions and booking communication to suppliers of car rental, transfers and sightseeing tours can also be included on the system. This comparative approach includes a range of sources for companies that are both on and offline. “We don’t just offer online tools, our product is also available to travel call-centres and retail outlets,” explained Davies. “As well as offering a space for tour operators to load, manage and sell their own inventory, it provides all the back-end/management tools which are key to travel companies that need to run their business efficiently.” In addition, there is an integrated customer database option, marketing module, document production, travel accounting, a quote management tool and workflow management system to send out automated responses.
