Dubai mega project Aykon City launched by DAMAC

DAMAC Properties has announced a mega project in the heart of Dubai.
Aykon City comprises six luxury towers including the first suites of Dubai, the 80-storey Aykon Hotel and Residences, DAMAC Maison Serviced Residences Hotel an apartment tower, an office tower and two luxury residential towers with 30 floors.
The four million square feet development is located in the eastern and western sides of Sheikh Zayed Road at the intersection of Safa Park and close to Canal Dubai.
It will join other iconic developments in the gold quadrant business district of the city such as City Walk, the Burj Khalifa, Emirates Towers and Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) district.
Hussain Sajwani, chairman of DAMAC said “this area of our city is one of the most important advances in the expansion of Dubai, opening access to many kilometres Canal Dubai”.
This project will also include the ‘Aykon Dare’ as well as attractions Dubai; an experience on the 80th floor of the hotel where guests can walk around the outside of the roof of the tower.
‘Aykon Square’ will boast swimming pools, spa, beach club, cafes, restaurants, areas of yoga and tai-chi as well as a private members club.
The value of the project is AED 7.4 billion (US $2 billion) and construction will start before the summer with a completion date of 2021.
