Dubai RevPAR to rise in 2011

A new report by Deloitte & Touche predicts Dubai hotels will increase their revenue per available room (RevPAR) by about 10% in 2011. “Thus in terms of RevPAR, we would see Dubai hotels clocking between 5% and 10% growth this year – largely occupancy driven and not rate driven,” Alex Kyriakidis, global managing director for tourism, hospitality and leisure at Deloitte & Touche, told Gulf News.
