Dubai witnesses 23% increase in hotel booking

A recent study conducted by BookBestRate revealed that search requests for hotels in Dubai have increased by 23% since mid-April compared to previous months.
Dr Bashar Tarawneh, founding member and general manager of BookBestRate, said: “London is the first global touristic destination followed by Paris and Madrid, while in the Middle East Dubai tops the list of bookings followed by Mecca, Cairo and Istanbul.”
The company has witnessed an increase in number of visitors to the site which amounts to nearly fifty thousand. Future forecasts suggest that the company expects to serve two million users during summer holidays.
Tarawneh further added that online hotel reservations ratio reached 18% compared to number of visits, which is expected to double during the holidays.
