Dubai’s MICE offerings on showcase at IMEX 2016

Dubai Business Events (DBE) showcased Dubai’s business events offering last week at IMEX.
The 14th edition attracted nearly 9,000 hosted buyers and visitors participating in 57,000 individual appointments and stand presentations with exhibitors. As per research the trade show marked an increase of nine percent in number of attendees from last year.
DBE was one of 3,500 exhibitors that welcomed more than 8,800 meetings professionals. Over the course of the exhibition, the Dubai stand welcomed more than 430 visitors. In addition, DBE and its partners recorded interaction with over 1,145 hosted buyers and trade media.
The 25 co-partners included Emirates Airline, Dubai World Trade Centre, Jumeirah Group, Arabian Adventures, Rotana Hotels, The Address Hotels & Resorts and Atlantis, The Palm.
The DBE team welcomed a delegation of hosted buyers and select media from the Americas to inspect Dubai’s business events offering and have a hands-on experience of the city. This will precede DBE sales missions to Paris, Vienna and Zurich in May, with The Meetings Show in London.
