Ratings for the Dusit Princess City Centre Hotel soared during the recent volcanic ash crisis as guests stranded at the property due to grounded flights expressed their gratitude at the way that they were treated by hotel staff.
The hotel has achieved 26th place out of 378 hotels in Dubai according to www.tripadvisor.com and has received 19 ‘excellent’ and 10 ‘very good’ reviews from ash-stranded visitors.
“We assisted as many of the stranded passengers as we could, took care of them during their stay extending such benefits as complimentary WiFi access, beach and shopping mall transfers and refreshment breaks,” said Dusit Princess General Manager Mr Wolfi Malik.
The property has received the accolades less than five-months after opening.
It is the first time this brand has opened a property outside of Thailand.
The hotel is exhibiting at ATM for the first time this year.
