Earthquake felt in HCMC

A 4.7-magnitude earthquake has been felt in Ho Chi Ming City (HCMC), local media has reported. The quake, which occurred off the coast of Vung Tau province, in the Mekong Delta area, caused buildings in Vietnam’s commercial capital to shake, and employees to evacuated offices in the city’s District 1.Thanh Nien News reported that the quake shook the city’s Mien Dong Bus Station, and that a two-metre wide pane of glass fell from the roof.
