Eastern Airways adds Newcastle-Cardiff flight

Eastern Airways is set to launch an additional flight on its Newcastle-Cardiff route later this month. The new Sunday service will start on 31 October has been introduced as FlyBe withdrew its operations on the route. Flights will depart Newcastle International Airport at 5.35pm to arrive in Cardiff at 6.40pm. The return operation leaves Cardiff at 7.05pm to land in Newcastle at 8.10pm. “Our new Sunday service will enable leisure travellers to take a weekend break or visit friends and relatives in South Wales and arrive refreshed from our short flight,” said Eastern Airways’ Ground Operation Manager Roger Hage. “Business travellers can also arrive on Sunday in advance of an early Monday morning meeting having avoided a lengthy car or rail journey.”
