Absolute Hotel Services (AHS) has signed its second Eastin hotel in Hanoi.
The Thailand-based hotel management company has penned a deal to operate the Vietnam capital’s Lakeside Hotel, which will now be rebranded as the Eastin Hotel Hanoi.
The property will now close for an extensive renovation, covering all 90 rooms and suites, the lobby, restaurants and hotel exterior. It will also develop a new all-day dining restaurant with lake views, plus a new fitness centre, kids’ club and a meeting room accommodating up to 80 people.
Following the upgrade, the hotel is expected to reopen under the Eastin banner in mid-2014.
“Eastin Hotel Hanoi will be our second operating hotel in Hanoi under the Eastin Hotels & Residences brand umbrella when it opens next year. By carrying out the rebranding process and adding more facilities as well as unique service standards, we will strive to become outstanding amongst all competitors with a strong focus on being Hanoi’s best value for money hotel,” said Jonathan Wigley, CEO of AHS.
Currently AHS operates one hotel in Vietnam, the 70-room Eastin Easy GTC Hanoi.
